Is TPU actually flexible after 3D printing?
Yes. TPU prints as a rubber-like material, but the final flexibility depends on wall thickness, infill, shape and part size. Thin sections flex more; chunky parts feel firmer.
What should I print in TPU?
TPU is best for grips, bumpers, protective covers, vibration dampeners, soft feet, straps, simple seals and parts that need to bend without snapping.
Can TPU replace rubber?
Sometimes, for prototypes and many practical flexible parts. For certified seals, high-pressure gaskets or safety-critical rubber parts, share the requirement first so we can confirm whether TPU is suitable.
